The biggest devil in the City of Angels is about to rain down hellfire on The Young and the Restless’ Sharon, Nick, Noah and… Well, all the Newmans. Matt is so furious that wife Sienna was hooking up with “Shick’s” son that he tried to made roadkill of “the other man.”

Obviously, that didn’t work out quite as planned; Noah survived his “accident” and got a handsome new face in the deal. But Matt has never

been the type to cut his losses. His anger and ego won’t allow it. Remember, he spent four years on the lam before returning to Genoa City with a new identity to torment “Shick.” (What? You don’t recall his stint as barista Carter Mills? Read up on that here.)

Since Matt was, in his mind, wronged by a member of the Newman family, “they all have to pay for that,” executive producer/headwriter Josh Griffith tells Soap Opera Digest. “He has been betrayed, and so they will suffer.”

If you think that the Newmans could avoid further trouble by packing up and heading back to Genoa City, you’re wrong — potentially dead wrong. The storyline as well as Roger Howarth’s menacing character will follow them home.

Then “it becomes a nightmare,” Griffith says, “not just for Nick and Sharon but to the whole Newman family.”
