In the episode that aired on January 9, Cane revealed a shocking confession that completely took Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) by surprise. His AI program has a built-in feature that allows it to turn against its host, meaning all he needs to do is activate it and watch as Newman crumbles!

It appears that Cane is indeed planning to command the software to unleash chaos on Newman Enterprises, which could lead Victor to deeply regret having that program in his control very soon.

It won’t be long before Cane and Phyllis begin to mock Victor over their triumph, and it’s certain that he will be absolutely furious. As Phyllis and Cane prepare for a takeover of Newman, it’s clear that this rivalry is only just beginning.

Cane And Phyllis Can’t Think There Won’t Be Consequences

Cane and Phyllis cannot possibly think they can initiate an attack of this magnitude and simply escape the consequences. You can be sure that Victor will be swearing vengeance, but he might find himself in need of some assistance in that regard.

This is where Jack could step in, as he will undoubtedly have his own lingering concerns about what Cane and Phyllis might do next.

Previously, Jack and Victor attempted to forge an alliance against Cane, but that effort quickly fell apart due to their lack of genuine commitment. It seemed more like a facade of an alliance, given the evident trust issues between Victor and Jack.
