General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the show may be gearing up for Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) redemption shocker. Could Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)

be the answer to GH writers’ Drew problem?Drew has become an absolute menace to society at this point, so fans are left fuming every time he’s on-screen.

Just when it seems like Drew can’t sink any lower, he finds some way to prove he’s an even worse character than viewers thought.

However, some scenes in the November 19 episode could hint at things eventually turning around for Drew, who got an earful from Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) in the latter’s office.

Jordan lashed out at Drew for not caring about the citizens of Port Charles and struggled to understand what happened to him.

Drew’s transformation into this smug, vindictive person clearly didn’t make sense to Jordan.

Laura kept that theme going after suggesting that if she lost her mayoral spot, it’d be up to Drew to protect the people of PC.

Drew mistakenly thought Laura had faith in him, but she was simply appealing to the man he used to be.

There was a lot of focus on sinister Sidwell in the midst of all this, so Drew flashed back to when Sidwell threatened him.

Sidwell has made it clear that Drew needs to stay in line, so Drew obviously doesn’t like being stuck under his thumb.

It’s interesting that GH writers are highlighting the negative changes in Drew and perhaps trying to show him how far he’s fallen.

Drew’s getting reminders that he wasn’t always this awful guy and doesn’t have to stay on this terrible path.

Drew could choose the path to redemption instead, especially if he decides to outsmart Sidwell and deliver his comeuppance.

It’d work in Drew’s favor if he could find some way to end Sidwell’s power over him.

That’d be good for Drew personally, but bringing down Sidwell would also be good for the people of Port Charles.

Drew is doing Sidwell’s dirty work and might have an advantage since he’s part of the inner circle.

It’ll be a great twist if Drew’s redemptive road involves going after Sidwell and proving maybe there’s a glimmer of the man he used to be in there after all.
