Mariska Hargitay, Husband Peter Hermann and Kids Step Out for Second Red Carpet Appearance in a Month
It’s another family night out for Mariska Hargitay. The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new documentary My Mom Jayne on Friday night alongside her husband Peter Hermann and their three kids August, Amaya, and Andrew.
Hargitay embraced Old Hollywood glamour in a caped column gown featuring floral sequin embroidery. White opera gloves and chandelier earrings completed her retro-inspired look.
The actress wore her brunette tresses in a chignon, while her makeup consisted of a smokey eye, terracotta blush and a mauve lip.
Hargitay’s New York premiere marks her family’s second public outing together in less than a month, a rare occurrence for the relatively private brood. In May, they walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet for the world premiere of My Mom Jayne.
Hargitay modeled an off-the-shoulder Carolina Herrera gown, which featured a skirt adorned with hot pink sequins. She accessorized with black satin gloves, diamond-encrusted earrings, and matching cocktail rings.
“Still basking in the glow of last night’s premiere of #MyMomJayne @cannes.film.festival …. and forever basking in the glow of this beautiful love,” Hargitay captioned a recent Instagram post.
Hargitay met her husband through NBC’s SVU, which is currently in its 26th season. Hermann had a recurring role on the show, portraying defense attorney Trevor Langan. The couple married in 2004, welcoming their eldest child August in 2006. They adopted Amaya and Andrew within months of each other in 2011.
