“I miss you, Bob:” General Hospital alum pays tribute to Bob Saget
John Stamos was a star with Saget on Full House

Stamos wrote a heartfelt and poetic tribute to Saget on the post. He said “Missing Bob feels like standing in a quiet room after the laughter stops. Your ears still ring with what was there, but the sound is gone. The heart of it is gone. It’s empty. It’s not a sharp pain. It’s a low hum. Soft. Constant. Something you carry until everything gets quiet. Missing someone is love with nowhere to go. So it sits beside you. It waits. Hoping they’ll walk back through the door and the laughter will start again. 4 (expletive) years. Can’t believe it. I miss you, Bob.”
Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, commented on the post, “This is so beautiful and poignant and perfect, John.” Full House costar Candace Cameron Bure commented with angel emojis.Numerous fans shared their sadness and thanked the former General
ospital star for the tribute. The Instagram user krystal811 said, “I love the photos! Thank you for sharing! Your description of losing someone loved hit the nail on the head. The world lost an amazing actor/comedian but you lost a dear friend and for that my deepest condolences and biggest virtual hugs!”
Another fan, kellythebaroness80, offered some important life advice, saying, “I love how you mentioned in your memoir what Bob said just before his passing: ‘if you’re with someone you love, take the time, since you never know what the future brings. Slow down and order the cake.’ It’s a perfect way to remind ourselves how fleeting life is & simply enjoy it, especially with the people you love.”

One user, adamslundberg, recounted meeting Saget on a flight a few months before he died. “I debated saying something to him about how I watched him through part of my childhood and how much it meant to me, but we locked eyes and he smiled at me and I decided that was good enough for me. Sending all the love to you and the fam John.”
Another fan, _dt_artist noted, “’Missing someone is love with nowhere to go’ is such a beautiful way to describe it.”
