Adam has already been feeling conflicted over Victor’s plan to attack Jabot with the AI program.
Since Adam considers Jack a friend, he doesn’t really want to be part of this feud and the damage it could inflict.
At the same time, Adam has managed to establish a solid relationship with Victor, which he’s hesitant to blow up.
The only way to be on good terms with Victor is to follow orders and prove you’re loyal, so going against him on this Jack mess would ruin everything.
Adam might have another moral dilemma related to this situation ahead of him, so let’s talk about that.
If Adam gets updates on Jack’s new plan, he may have the opportunity to act first and give Victor the upper hand.
During the week of December 1-5, it looks like the Abbott family vote will be unanimous on taking Jabot offline for at least three months.
Shutting it all down will be Jack’s tactic to avoid Victor’s AI infiltration.
Jack will end up confiding in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) soon after he makes this decision.
Y&R spoilers say Jack will divulge a secret to Nikki, so he may let her know this shutdown is happening and explain why.
What if Adam is lurking and overhears Jack’s strategy to outsmart Victor?
Adam might realize there’s a very limited window of time to sneak this AI program in before Jabot goes offline.
If they don’t act now, Victor may have to wait three months or more to make his vengeful move on Jack.
Of course, if it were up to Adam, that’d be just fine. Adam would prefer to see Victor drop his feud with Jack altogether, but that’s wishful thinking.
Plus, Adam wants to please Victor and seems to thrive off the praise he’s been getting from his father.
Victor would be furious and feel betrayed if he later found out Adam discovered this information and did nothing.
If Adam tries to keep this news under wraps, it could leave Victor deeply disappointed and result in his son’s punishment.
Will Adam find out Jack’s plan to take Jabot offline and face a moral dilemma?
Will Adam end up torn between family loyalty to Victor and his friendship with Jack?
Adam could potentially help Victor expedite things and try to get the AI program in Jabot’s system before the shutdown is official.
That could mean hurting Jack and the rest of the Abbotts, but will Adam be tempted to do it anyway?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will have a lot to think about as the Abbott-Newman feud heats up, so stay tuned.
