The Young and the Restless Tuesday, September 30 Recap- Kyle Confronts Claire Over Holden Trip, Sally Asks Jill for Money
At the park overlook, Sally will get Jill on a video call and acknowledge that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) obsession with Chancellor sent him off the rails.
Now Billy’s floundering without Abbott Communications, so Sally will suggest Jill could provide the funding they lost and take the first step toward reconciliation with her son.
Jill won’t be able to give Sally a firm answer yet, but she’ll agree to consider the pitch and will plan to talk more with her about it during her upcoming trip to Genoa City.

At Crimson Lights, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will give Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) updates on her decision to visit the hotel Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) stayed at and get some answers about what really happened.
Sharon will worry that Mariah could view this as a betrayal and push Tessa even further away.
Tessa will argue that Mariah has already shut her out completely, but she’ll refuse to give up and will want to get to the truth of all this.
Sharon will also worry about what Tessa might discover and won’t want her digging alone.
Tessa will reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) is coming with her, so he’ll appear soon after and admit he has the same concerns as Sharon.
However, Tessa’s mind will be made up on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, so Daniel will stick with his choice to tag along.
At Jabot, Kyle will give Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) the news about his breakup with Claire and the reasons she gave, so Jack will think Claire’s explanation makes sense.
Kyle will get upset over Jack seemingly siding with Claire, but Jack will insist he’s on Kyle’s side always.
Jack will just be trying to help Kyle understand the situation from Claire’s point of view.
At Society, Claire will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for a week of vacation when she joins her grandmother as well as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at a table.
Nikki will assure Claire that she can have the time off, so Claire will look forward to her Los Angeles trip.
Victoria and Nikki will assume Claire is going with Kyle, but she’ll admit they broke up since she’s not ready for a serious relationship and needs time to live first.
Although Nikki and Victoria will worry about this trip seeming impulsive, Claire will argue that’s the point since she wants to be impulsive now and make moves based on her instincts.
